The boat is called "Reel Knotty".  It's a 30 foot long, 9.6 foot wide 2006 Baja Express H/T.
On board toilet, non-skid floors, 4 inch cushion sides and seating for 5

Nature Watching

We can't guarantee anywildlife encounters, but we are often treated to up close and personal visits from the local residents.

Crabbing

Our crab pots are out before the start of every tour...... over the 2.5 hour tour around the harbour we include a few stops to pull up crab traps and see what we have been able to catch.  Guests are given the chance to pull up traps themselves and size the crab to see if they are big enough to keep.

All legal size crab caught on the excursion are for guests to take.... but you need to have a plan.   Please be aware that safe handling and cooking is important with crab.   Crabs must be killed just before being eaten.  We offer packages for guests who would like to take their crab and need a place to cook and eat them.

Points of Interest

During the tour we have an opportunity to see many different points of interest out on the water.

Prince Rupert Waterfront
Experience great views of the shoreline and marina areas spanning the city end to end from Seal Cove down to DP World and the import/export terminal

Metlakatla & Digby Island
Cruise past the first nations community of Metlakatla and alongside Digby Island.  Enjoy the beautiful views and get a glimpse of the unique life that many residents enjoy in our area living on remote islands.

Ridley Island
Get a glimpse of the big business that happens out of a little port and see all the new industry and rail services that are happening in Prince Rupert.

Safety First

We are licensed, insured and prepared.  Your safety is our first priority - adult size life jackets are available on board... but for guests who are bringing kids - you need to get a proper fitted life vest for your child.   No worries - they are free - please show up a little early for the tour and collect a life vest from the Rushbrook Marina office and make sure your child is safe and ready to go.

Smoking

Smoking, vaping, even the now legal 420 (thank you Canada) is all allowed on the vessel, only we don't allow these activities under the covered and inside areas of the cabin....... so understand that if it is raining you will find it especially important to be bringing along your rain gear and appropriate clothing for the adventure.
